HeadRush AIuses Google's Gemini AI to generate and refine guitar rig signal chains for HeadRush Core, Prime, and Flex Prime pedals. Describe the tone you want in plain English (or upload a reference audio clip) and the AI returns a ready-to-apply rig.
Each new AI rig generation costs 1 credit. New accounts start with a small credit balance. You can earn additional credits by watching a rewarded ad (up to 5 per day on mobile). Credits are consumed only when the AI successfully returns a validated rig — they are never deducted for timeouts or errors.
Credits are granted via Google AdMob Server-Side Verification (SSV). If the SSV callback is delayed, pull down to refresh on the AI Chat screen or wait up to 30 seconds. If the credit still hasn't arrived, please email us with your account email address.
The AI validates each rig against a firmware-specific parameter matrix before returning it to you. If you see an error message about an unsupported firmware version, go to Settings and select the correct firmware for your pedal. If the rig looks odd, try being more specific in your prompt or tap the “Refine” button.
Yes. The AI chat and rig gallery work fully without a connected pedal. You only need your pedal connected to apply a rig directly from the app. You can also export a rig as JSON and load it via your pedal's own management software.
Your pedal and your phone/tablet must be on the same Wi-Fi network. Go to Settings in the app and tap Core or Prime (iOS/macOS) to test the default hostname (headrushcore.local / headrushprime.local). On Android, you must enter the pedal's IP address directly (visible in the pedal's network settings).
Go to Settings → Delete My Account in the app or at app.ragsinc.com/settings. Account deletion is immediate and permanent — all rigs, credits, and personal data are removed.
AI prompts (and optional audio clips) are sent to Google Gemini to generate rigs. Ad impressions are managed by Google AdMob. Authentication is handled by Supabase. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
