HeadRush AI(“we”, “our”, “RagsInc”) is a mobile and web application that helps guitarists create optimised signal chains for HeadRush guitar-modelling pedals using AI. Our service is available on iOS (App Store), Android (Google Play), and at app.ragsinc.com.
When you create an account we collect your email address, sign-in provider (Apple, Google, or email/password), and a generated user identifier. Anonymous sessions are also supported and do not require an email address.
Signal chains (“rigs”) you save are stored in our database (Supabase, operated by Supabase Inc.) in association with your account. Community rigs you publish are visible to other signed-in users.
Text prompts you send to the AI assistant — and any optional audio recordings you attach — are transmitted to our backend (Supabase Edge Functions) and then forwarded to Google Gemini (Google LLC) to generate a rig recommendation. Your prompt text and audio are processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not use your prompts to train our own models.
When you connect a HeadRush pedal on your local network, the app communicates directly with the pedal over your local Wi-Fi network (cleartext HTTP). The pedal's IP address or hostname is stored locally on your device only and is not sent to our servers.
Your selected HeadRush firmware version is stored in your profile to ensure the AI uses a compatible parameter set. It may also be sent to our servers as part of anonymous usage telemetry.
The iOS and Android apps use Google AdMob to serve rewarded ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalised ads, subject to your ATT (App Tracking Transparency) consent choice on iOS. On Android, AdMob uses the Advertising ID. Please see Google's advertising policy for details. We use AdMob Server-Side Verification (SSV) to confirm ad completion; the SSV callback contains only a transaction ID and your Supabase user ID.
We use Sentry (Functional Software Inc.) to capture crash reports and error logs. Sentry may receive a hashed user identifier, device type, OS version, and a stack trace. No personally identifiable information is intentionally included in error reports.
You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app or at app.ragsinc.com/settings. Deletion removes your profile, all saved rigs, credit balance, ad-reward history, and your authentication record. Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
The HeadRush AI service is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below.
Depending on your location you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to processing, or to data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact support@ragsinc.com.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
